Is it ok to use machines instead of benches to workout chest muscles?

My main concern is muscle gain, when it’s my day to work chest I usually stick to incline, flat and decline bench, along with the cross pulley.

However, if I’m working out alone I can not use the bench, so I must use machines to work out my chest safely. Do machines not create as good of a workout? How can I maximize my chest workout with machines, considering my main goal is muscle gain?

The pulleys on machines do half of the work for you so it givesw you less results in a longer period of time. Even if you have to ask a trainer or a stranger at the gym to spot you its better than to use machines, machines are only good for people who are just getting into exercise.
